Soundcheck is a response to the needs of people who work in the music industry.
We’ve seen firsthand the demands and strains placed upon creative individuals. We too have experienced the difficulties and challenges of operating in a highly pressured, often lonely and potentially destructive environment.
- We want to help those who are facing financial uncertainty, addictions, mental health struggles or loneliness.
- We want to see genuine change in the music industry and serve in whatever small way we can to ensure that those who operate in this sector have a voice, a lifeline and a support network.
- We want to see artists, DJ’s, producers and industry professionals flourish, maintain healthy lifestyle choices and pursue their creative calling effectively.

WHO ARE WE ?
LUKE ROLLINS
Luke has over 7 years of experience as a Music Industry Chaplain for Third Space Ministries. He received an accredited certificate in Pioneer Chaplaincy in 2020 in addition to a Chaplaincy qualification from the CMS in 2018. He is also a qualified mental health first aider. Luke has spent many years in nightlife culture and the music industry. He’s worked as a club DJ, event promoter, touring musician and teacher. He believes that DJ’s and artists need space to be heard and is passionate about releasing potential in people. He is married to Judith and is based in the Midlands.
CAROLYN SKINNER
Carolyn has a variety of experience working as a chaplain in the leisure industry including the music industry. As a minister and mentor, she brings pastoral and listening skills and she is also a qualified mental health first aider. She is the CEO of Third Space Ministries and her heart is to see those in the creative and leisure industries walking in freedom, fulfilment and purpose.
