Welcome to the next edition of soundcheck stories. I will be interviewing music producer, studio owner and all round entrepreneur, John Merriman from Crown Lane Studios in South London.

John Merriman is a music producer and sound engineer based in the UK. He is the owner of Crown Lane Studio, a professional recording studio located in Morden, London. Merriman has a long history in the music industry and is known for his expertise in music production, mixing, and mastering. Crown Lane Studio offers a range of services, including recording for bands, solo artists, and voiceover work. Merriman has worked with a diverse array of artists and is recognized for his ability to bring out the best in the musicians he collaborates with.

In this podcast we will be discussing the highs and lows of the music business, loss and grief, entrepreneurship and faith.

We discuss his roots and formative years in London and Leeds, how travel and prayer birthed new ideas and the redemptive journey he has recently taken, following the discovery and release of his father’s musical legacy. This is also a moment to introduce him in his new role as the coordinator for Soundcheck and we hope you’ll join us in cheering him on as he begins the next chapter of his musical odyssey.
